Cobblers at the Nest
This week at the Nest we drew round our feet, cut out the shapes and then wrapped round some fabric, sewed in some yarn and learnt to tie our laces

In the Tea pot we had rose lemonade, the rabbit was made from a smoothy and some gelatin + we all played croquet. thankyou all who came.

We are back for the summer term at Francis Xavier College, Malwood Road London SW12 8EN. tel: 0208772 6098. enrollment evening is thursday 10th September. The ten week course starts on Thursday 22nd April, So bring along your sad old woolens and leave with something new and far more exciting
Sock monkey workshop

musical instruments: The Nest
This week with the under fives at the Nest we made some musical instruments : here we have a guitar made out of a box and elastic bands. Some marakas out of yogurt pots and some stones and a trumpet out of an old water bottle, the sound was surprising pleasant.DSCF1177DSCF1184DSCF1186

shrunken sox and dress
Florence's' grannie knitted her a beautiful alpaca dress and sox but unfortunately they shrunk in the washing machine, Fortunately after a bit of rearrangement Florence was reunited with them and very happy with their new incarnation.
