This week at the Nest we drew round our feet, cut out the shapes and then wrapped round some fabric, sewed in some yarn and learnt to tie our laces

Last week at the nest we studied insects and their habitat.

In the Tea pot we had rose lemonade, the rabbit was made from a smoothy and some gelatin + we all played croquet. thankyou all who came.

Finally dolls are beginning to return after being worked on by 10 consecutive people. This one started off with Tony Beaver as a load of conkers
and now look at it1

On Saturday 27th we made Easter Bonnets in Myatts Fields.

There was a free sewing session at the old depot next to the greenhouses it Myatts Fields Park on saturday 7th November. For 7 to 13 year olds

We are back for the summer term at Francis Xavier College, Malwood Road London SW12 8EN. tel: 0208772 6098. enrollment evening is thursday 10th September. The ten week course starts on Thursday 22nd April, So bring along your sad old woolens and leave with something new and far more exciting

This week with the under fives at the Nest we made some musical instruments : here we have a guitar made out of a box and elastic bands. Some marakas out of yogurt pots and some stones and a trumpet out of an old water bottle, the sound was surprising pleasant.

I am available to teach needlework skills and general craft to any age group and ability (C.R.B. certificated).

Florence's' grannie knitted her a beautiful alpaca dress and sox but unfortunately they shrunk in the washing machine, Fortunately after a bit of rearrangement Florence was reunited with them and very happy with their new incarnation.
